System Redesign
Modernizing the primary timecard approval and reporting engine for talent and crew payroll — serving both internal teams and external clients with complex workflows.
LINX is Extreme Reach's primary timecard approval and reporting engine for talent and crew payroll. The legacy application suffered from outdated UI patterns, complex multi-step workflows, and fragmented user access management — impacting both internal payroll teams and external client stakeholders who rely on the system daily.
As UX lead, I drove the complete redesign of LINX from research through high-fidelity prototyping. This included auditing the existing system, identifying pain points across user types, designing modernized workflows for timecard management, batch processing, and reporting, and validating designs with stakeholders and end users.
Three priorities shaped the redesign
Replace legacy form-heavy interfaces with a clean, contemporary design system.
Reduce steps in timecard approval, batch management, and reporting flows.
Create a consistent experience across internal and client-facing views.
